The victory of France over the defending champion Brazil made it an all-Euro semi-finals. Portugal also advances after winning over heavy favorite England who lost over penalties after a 0-0 draw in 120 minutes. The biggest casualty in England’s lost is David Beckham who is very disappointed with his last World cup performance and maybe the last of his career.

So this coming Wednesday, it’s Germany vs Italy, France vs Portugal. My bet is, of course, the host country–united Germany.
