Dante Basco is a pure Filipino who was discovered being a break-dancer in Bay area sa US. Siya na siguro ang pinoy na may pinakamarming nagawang Hollywood movie na hindi lang cameo role. Bukod sa “Take the Lead”, ang latest movie niya with no less than Antonio Banderas ang kasama niya, gumanap din siya sa Biker Boyz, Naked Brown Men, The Debut, Extreme Days at Hook, kung saan lumabas siya bilang Rufio, leader ng Lost Boys, kasama ang mga iniidolong sina Dustin Hoffman at Robin Williams. Not to mention his tv guestings in various series.

Dante is currently here in Manila to promote the movie.
