‘Newscolored’ Features the Bright Side of the OFs’ Lives

We often hear about the sacrifices of the overseas Filipinos, this time we are about to see the lighter side of their lives abroad in the newest TFC Digital Shorts, “Newscolored”, hosted by Kaladkaren Davila and seen in most countries worldwide via TFC Online (ww.TFC.tv).

“Newscolored” is a digital news parody that features light-hearted community stories and provides comic relief to the overseas Filipinos in the Asia Pacific.

“Filipinos are among the happiest people in the world, this is despite the struggles and challenges that come their way. Through ‘Newscolored’, we want to celebrate the Filipinos’ cheery disposition by highlighting their real-life stories delivered in a comic but heartwarming manner,” said ABS-CBN Global Country Manager for South Asia and Regional Marketing Head for Asia Pacific Maribel Hernaez.

Narrating and adding fun to these overseas Filipinos stories is host Kaladkaren Davila, who gained popularity after going viral for imitating ABS-CBN reporter and news anchor Karen Davila. Now, she is a segment host in the news program “Umagang Kay Ganda”, hosting “Idol Philippines Online”, and host of TFC’s “Kapamilya Live”.

“NewsColored” puts the spotlight to the life-stories of the overseas Filipinos through the show’s different fun segments: NCL Headlines which reports the news around the community in a simple and light manner, and KKK (Kaladkarin si Kaladkaren) where the overseas Filipinos spend some fun time with Kaladkaren while in their hang-out places in the country they are staying.

Be up-to-date with the latest happenings around the different communities in the Asia Pacific while also being entertained in TFC Digital Shorts, “Newscolored”, seen in most countries worldwide via TFC Online (www.TFC.tv), with all episodes FREE for all registered users.
