More and more households nationwide tune in every afternoon to witness the intense catfights in the Kapamilya series “Kadenang Ginto” as it broke its own record and hit a new all-time high national TV rating last Tuesday (April 23).

The Kapamilya series scored a national TV rating of 27.1% — an exceptional feat for an afternoon series — compared to its rival program “Inagaw na Bituin” that only got 9.3%, according to data from Kantar Media.

Viewers tuned in to the episode last Tuesday where Marga desperately tried to stop Kristoff from admitting his true feelings for Cassie. The intense scene also led to Marga confessing his love for Kristoff, which he dismissed after making it clear to her that Cassie is the one he loves.

Kristoff then got the chance to talk to Cassie privately, and this time, he did not waste any moment and immediately admitted his love for the young Mondragon. Although in shock, Cassie also professed her affection for the young man.

Now that Cassie and Kristoff have confessed their feelings for each other, what will Marga do to stop their brewing romance? Will she meet another boy who can help her forget her feelings for Kristoff?
